A STUDY ON MADHYA PRADESH STATE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (MPSTDC) AFFECTING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF MADHYA PRADESH

Abstract

People from numerous castes and civilization’s live side by side in India, a multicultural nation. India's most picturesque state, Madhya Pradesh, is a well-liked vacation spot for both local and international tourists. Due to its central location, it is referred to as the "Heart of India". It is among the ten biggest states in India. The size of M.P. is 3,08,252 km. The State is also well-connected to other cities by road, train, and air. The Madhya Pradesh government has started a number of projects to upgrade the state's infrastructure. In order to encourage the quick growth of the state's tourist sector, the Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (MPSTDC) was established. In order to make the centre of India a world-renowned tourist destination, MPSTDC is developing an amount of programs and initiatives to encourage tourism. The main aim and objective of this research paper is to evaluate Madhya Pradesh's tourism industry's impact on economy of Madhya Pradesh. This paper examines the economic impact of Madhya Pradesh's Tourism industry by looking into the MPSTDC and how it influences the state's economic growth and tourism promotion. At the end, presented few suggestions and recommendation for the betterment of Madhya Pradesh Tourism.
